Silver Band

Eythorne Baptist church has had a silver (brass) band for over 40 years that plays around the local community and occasionally in our own services.

We have a training group that practice on Sunday mornings before the service (at 9.30am) and the regular band practice in on Friday evenings at 8pm.

The band is open to anyone who has an interest to join, we do have some spare 'loan' instruments and are willing to give lessons to young and old. The youngest players are around 7 or 8 years old and the oldest - well... have been playing for many years. The training group on a Sunday morning is a great place to start, but if you're interested in joining and can already play we would be very keen to consider you for the Band that practices on Fridays.

Worship Group

The worship group aid us in our worship and consist of a variety of musicians, that include piano, guitar, bass guitar, drums, violin and recorder.

The worship group take part in the worship every Sunday morning and evening (although not all musicians will be at both services). Rehearsals take place on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. sharp. They also take part in other 'special' services throughout the year.

Choral Group

We have a Choral group that will enhance the worship of the Lord at special services and are occasionally invited to take part at other churches, services and events locally.
